Wow, what a great place! The cottage was immaculate, well stocked and in a beautiful location. The games room and hot tub were also very nice additions. The cottage is located in a great location a short drive to local beaches (the supplied dry robes were a nice touch!). The host was very attentive, friendly and willing to help and answer any questions we had. I would 100% recommend and definitely would be on the list to come back to!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully decorated, calm and relaxing space. Kitchen was kitted out with everything you could need and more! We loved spending time with family here and enjoyed using the hot tub and games room which were brilliant additions. The cottage is just a 5 minute drive down into Rock and close to other nearby seaside towns too. We loved exploring and finding new spots we hadn’t visited before. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful week staying at Owl Cottage. The location is ideal for visiting lovely local beaches, villages and cafes/restaurants. The cottage was absolutely perfect. So well equipped and to a very high standard, a real home from home. The garden is huge and was perfect for our 3 young children to run around in. The hot tub was brilliant and the games room kept both the children and adults entertained every day! The welcome hamper was so lovely and Louise and Kerry have really thought of everything to ensure guests have the perfect stay. We would love to return and highly recommend Owl Cottage as a perfect place to stay in Cornwall.

Wow, what can we say! This is the best place we have stayed in Cornwall. Everything is high quality and looked after really well. Kitchen was well equipped, Beds were really comfortable and felt just at home! Games Room was a fun addition and gave us plenty of fun along with the Hot Tub! The garden is massive, super private. Great if you have kids. Lots of seating areas outside to catch the sun. Close by to Rock and a ferry away from Padstow. We checked out Daymer Bay due to Louise recommendation in her welcome pack which had everything you need to help you. We will definitely be booking again for next year! Thanks again Louise and family!

Fantastic stay at Owl Cottage ! Quite secluded and private with fabulous amenities and great little touches like salt/ pepper, lovely hamper on arrival, dry robes , well equipped games room, plenty of towels, sharp knives in kitchen for cooking made a big difference as used to only having blunt knives at previous places. Great bbq and gorgeous back garden to enjoy. Nothing missing at all! Very comfortable beds and soft linen makes a big difference. Had some great recommendations from the hosts and whilst the weather was a bit rubbish, we had a great time at Owl cottage and would highly recommend it. Had a fabulous meal st Kew restaurant and the mariners restaurant and only short drive to polzeath and padstow. All in all, we had a great stay! Thank you Kerry and Louise !

We loved our stay. The cottage is gorgeous and the garden space is incredible. We really enjoyed using the games room and the hot tub! The kitchen is very well equipped and the bed was super comfy. The hosts have thought of everything.

Just got back from an amazing week at Owl Cottage. It was perfect for some much needed family time. Our 12 year old loved the games room, and the hot tub was a real hit, too. The cottage was exactly as described. Everything was high quality and pristine. The host greeted us with a welcome basket of local produce and responded quickly to any questions we had. Will happily book again.

Amazing accommodation an oasis away from reality. The moment you arrive everything is simply perfect.
The host is wonderfully helpful too offering great advice.
The location is a reasonable 10 minute drive from places like Port Issac & beaches. One of which is decent for surfing & has a stream for the little dam engineers.
The shops are a 15mins drive; Tesco, Lidl, Aldi and B&M. This is perfect because you are passing them every day en route to secret beaches on the Lizard or St Ives which are only 1.5 hours away, traffic permitting. Personal recommendation is the Trevathan Farm 5mins away and worth your time.
The welcome Hamper with local items was a lovely touch, and thoroughly enjoyed after a 6hrs drive.
The cottage is clean & offers everything you need, and much more a true gem. I have stayed in places all other the world and I’m not often left with nothing to moan about. Thus this is the only place I will stay in Cornwall & definitely be returning guests!

We had an amazing week at the end of April 23. Such a lovely, well equipped house with huge garden, amazing games room and the hot tub. Our little girl absolutely loved spending time at the home as did we. The location is so tranquil and with so much to do and see in the surrounding areas. We will be back.

Louise and Kerry were great hosts, letting us enjoy our time together but always available to help if needed.
The cottage was very well equipped and clean, the hot tub got 10/10 from us after days out walking.
Would not hesitate to book again if holidaying in the area.

Our half-term family break was spent at Owl Cottage ... A perfect location if you want to,
"Get away from it all"... Nestled in a quiet corner close by to the village of Rock which lies across the inlet from Padstow... Owl Cottage offers the perfect setting for a most relaxing stay. Surrounded on nearly all sides by a small copse and with a stream and pond in close proximity, it offers an idyllic atmosphere.
The cottage has two tastefully furnished bedrooms with a modern upstairs bathroom. Downstairs along with a double sofa bed, there is a spacious and comfy living and dining room, which leads onto a large terraced area, that includes a jacuzzi and separate games room . The garden itself offers total privacy and is of a considerable size . The kitchen is modern and of an excellent " high-end" quality and the owners have gone to considerable lengh to include every necessity for your stay.
Downstairs you will also find a utility room and a separate shower and toilet again tastefully appropriated.
There are games galore for children and adults of all ages and plenty of "equipment" for the beach .... windbreaker, body boards, bucket & spades for the kids .....
With fresh towels and dry robes, a fire pit for cosy fires outside and a very thoughtful welcome pack. All that is needed is yourself.....

In a word outstanding!! The communication from Kerry and Louise prior to our stay was faultless. The cottage is located in a quiet setting where there is plenty of wildlife to be seen. Kerry and Louise were the perfect hosts and on arrival the cottage was spotless. They took plenty of time to explain how the hot tub worked and where things were. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again for a wonderful stay in an amazing setting.

We spent a week at Owl Cottage and had a lovely time. It was so nice to get back each day to fun activities like the games room and the hot tub and the large garden was great for the children. Everything in the cottage is of great quality. The location is perfect for visiting lots of beaches and for lots of other fun activities and some lovely places to eat. Would highly recommend! The hosts were very welcoming and super helpful if we had any questions! Great place to stay

Fabulous holiday cottage, absolutely everything you could need is provided and lovingly furnished to a high spec. Garden is huge and very private. The hot tub and games room were the highlights for our teenagers. Great location for accessing Rock, ferry to Padstow and Polzeath beach for boarding / surfing - all within 10 mins. We have just returned from our second visit to Owl Cottage and yet again it was amazing. The location is perfect, within short driving distance of great beaches and some lovely shops, and it’s completely tranquil, zero traffic or neighbouring houses. The house is finished to an incredibly high standard, the beds and bedding are super luxurious and we always get an amazing nights sleep! Add in the games room and huge garden that make parenting on holiday super easy. We will be back and already can’t wait!

Owl Cottage is such a lovely place to stay. It's location is perfect, close to lots of lovely beaches and towns to explore. The cottage itself is immaculate and the outside space and hot tub and games room are huge bonuses, perfect for the kids. What a lovely little gem Owl Cottage is! We have just returned from a stay with our 3 year old and can’t fault the house or location. The garden/outside space is amazing and perfect for relaxing in after spending a day exploring this lovely part of Cornwall. We spent a fair few evenings in the games room and hot hub. The amenities were really high quality and well thought out, the welcome hamper was really appreciated as were the additions of things like beach equipment. There was lots to see and do in the local area and the hosts were really informative. We visited several restaurants, beaches and shops on their recommendation and were not disappointed! We hope to return soon.

This is a wonderful cottage, in a perfect location that is fully equipped with everything you need. The garden and outdoor living space is massive and amazing. Owl Cottage was just perfect. The cottage was at the end of a secluded lane with a beautifully large garden which was frequented by lots of lovely birds. The hot tub and games room were fantastic & ideal if the weather isn't very nice. The house was generous in size and very cosy with a modern contemporary feel. The attention to detail was fantastic and it really did have everything you would need for your stay. The cleanliness was 10/10. Kerry & Louise were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fabulous stay at Owl Cottage and would highly recommend it.

We loved staying at owl cottage. It is a very private and relaxed environment and has everything a family especially with boys needs. The boys loved the garden and being able to play football. We all loved the bird song in the morning, the owls in the evening and enjoyed the hot tub every day plus played lots of rounds of pool in the games room. The proximity to the beach is fantastic too!

We had such a lovely break at Owl cottage and would highly recommend it! It is in a brilliant location nearby to lots of popular coastal villages / walking areas but enough out the way that you can enjoy privacy and some peace and quiet. The cottage was very clean with all the amenities we needed and the hot tub & fire were extra treats, which we used everyday! On arrival we got tucked straight into the lovely goodies left by Louise, who also kindly popped over to check we had everything we needed. We came away from our stay feeling truly refreshed!

What can we say!? Owl cottage is perfection! We stayed here to relax and explore north Cornwall for our Minimoon and it honestly was the most fantastic base! Like home from home (but better!) we were sad to leave. The cottage is extremely well equipped and we wanted for nothing. Instructions for appliances were easy to find and the welcome brochure was very informative and offered some handy tips on things to do. Louise was kind enough to pop round when we arrive to show us how to use the hot tub and was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and you can really tell that a lot of effort has been put into making it the perfect holiday get away. Everything was impeccably clean and the carpets upstairs are the softest! There is a big hot tub available for use and also a brilliant games room - we took full advantage of both! All in all one of the best mini breaks we’ve had. 10/10 for owl cottage! We will absolutely be back one day! Thank you Kerry, Louise and family for providing the location for a perfect stay! X

We had a wonderful stay at Owl Cottage. The location is superb... tucked away at the end of a private road it feels very secure and private. A great position for exploring North Cornwall with a number of fantastic and varied beaches (Trevone was our favourite) all within a short drive. Then there are the towns of Padstow, Port Issac, Bodmin etc all within a stones throw. Even after a week we felt like we hadn't scratched the surface of what the area had to offer.
The cottage itself has ample room to relax and feel comfortable. It's full of gadgets and a well equipped kitchen. One of the real highlights of our stay was just how amazing the beds were. Real quality bedding and extremely comfortable mattresses... better than what we have at home. And then the outside space... if you ever wanted to feel like you were a millionaire for a week. The hot tub exceeded expectations; when we booked we thought well that might be nice once or twice, but we went in every day. Again, we're not talking about your B&M Lay-Z-Spa, this is the real deal. The games room was a great touch with lots of kit to try and then a garden that you could almost lose yourself in. And finally the really lovely welcome hamper (all really tasty stuff), the log burner and Louise as a perfect host. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We would certainly recommended Owl cottage. We are a family with 3 children and the children loved the huge garden, the games room and hot tub. For very young children it’s worth keeping in mind the garden has steep banks on two side and isn’t enclosed so someone needs to be close by at all times as they wander around but this wasn’t an issue for us and the garden is so big there’s lots of room for them to safely explore. The cottage is very well equipped and the hosts on hand if anything is needed. The location is central to lots of popular places to visit and we loved Rock Beach which is a very short drive away

Fantastic cottage, with an exceptional garden space with that all important hot tub, and with the bonus of a games room, which was brilliant to entertain the kids when the rain fell, and also for us adults too! The host was brilliant with a lovely welcome basket on arrival, and it seemed they had everything covered, from beach equipment, to lots of extras around the property too! The location is brill as it’s close to many beaches and a short boat ride to padstow for that all important Rick steins fish and chips! 5 star recommendation from start to finish.

We have had such a fantastic weeks stay at Owl Cottage. It's a fabulous location being ten minutes from several beaches. It was a very hot week, Kerry and Louise went out their way to make sure we were comfortable. Lovely welcome hamper and very welcoming hosts, so friendly and informative or what to do and where to go. We stayed with children from newborn to age 7 and the older kids loved the games room, it was a huge hit and that with the huge garden and hot tub meant a day at the cottage wasn't boring at all. We will come back, a lovely part of Cornwall and a really fabulous, comfortable house with everything you would need for a great week away. Thank you so much, we will be back :-)

Kerry and Louise are fantastic hosts! Owl Cottage is modern and the surroundings are so peaceful. I would highly recommend a stay here, we would definitely stay again when visiting Cornwall. It's in a great location for exploring near and far but also ideal for those lazy afternoons staying in enjoying the garden, hot tub and games room. The welcome basket was very much appreciated, as well as all the added extras available at the cottage for guests use i.e. bbq, dry robes, music speaker, stair gates, buggy, buckets and spades, body boards, crabbing lines etc - the hosts really have you covered! It was really refreshing to see. We certainly didn't want to leave.

We travelled across the country with high expectations after reading previous reviews for our stay in Owl Cottage. On arriving we were not disappointed the cottage was spotlessly clean and very welcoming and There was a lovely hamper of local products left for us to enjoy too.
The cottage had everything you could want for and is perfect for exploring north Cornwall. There are several beautiful beaches in close proximity and there are dry robes for use which are a fantastic addition to keep you warm and dry when getting out the water.
The local town of Wadebridge is a short drive away and has supermarkets and shops for all requirements.
The garden and games room are fantastic and the hot tub was so relaxing after a days exploring and our boys loved the football goal and massive garden.
We enjoyed our stay so much at owl cottage that we’re going to re book for next year

Gorgeous house and garden in a beautiful setting. Finished to a high standard with lovely furnishings, there isn't anything they haven't thought of, even dry robes for the beach. Located within close proximity to some fantastic beaches, nobody could be disappointed here. We have already recommended to family and friends

We had never been to Cornwall before and found the location of Owl Cottage to be perfect to explore- the closest beach is so so beautiful! We loved going there in the evenings before heading back to cottage for a dip in the hot tub! The cottage was so peaceful but also had so much to offer that the kids could have played in the garden and games room all day! It was practical and family friendly but also had a touch of luxury which made time spent there so enjoyable for both the kids and us. My family and I have just spent a wonderful week at Owl Cottage. It was immaculately clean on arrival. Louise and Kerry really have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We made good use of the wonderful garden, terrace, BBQ, hot tub and games room. There was plenty of room for us all in the cottage. Bedding and towels were very good quality. Everything you could possibly need is supplied in the kitchen. It was so handy to have a downstairs shower room and utility too. Special mention must go to the Dry Robes- what a fantastic touch! We will definitely be returning.

Such a lovely place to stay, it felt like a home away from home and the hosts were so welcoming and friendly. The cottage had absolutely everything you could’ve wanted and every detail had been thought about. We travelled with our two young children and there were stair gates installed for us, a high chair set up and even a buggy on hand if we needed it which made the trip much easier all round. The hot tub and games room were amazing and the cottage is set in lovely grounds with a huge garden and birds tweeting away. The location is also fab, just a few minutes to numerous beaches. We loved it and will definitely be returning!

Owl Cottage is the perfect place to relax and get away from the chaos of everyday life. The hot tub and cosy fire are lovely and we used them everyday. The hot tub was checked everyday to make sure it was in tip top condition for every use. The cottage is very secluded with a great sized garden, which would be perfect in the summer for BBQs. You would need a car to be able to go out for food and drinks but you don’t have to go far to find lovely restaurants. All in all a great stay and we will be returning.

My fiancée and I have just spent 3 fantastic nights here. It's conveniently located for loads of local activities, being a short car ride from Port Isaac, Wadebridge and other towns. There's a nice public footpath right at the end of the garden too, so no need to worry about finding a nice walk either! Speaking of the garden, the garden is huge, with a football goal and a basketball hoop provided, and plenty of outdoor seating. The hot tub was a personal highlight - watching the sunrise from a hot tub was something I didn't realise was on my bucket list until it happened! The house itself is fantastic. Everything you could wish for is in there - two bathrooms, two bedrooms (plus a sofa bed) and an extremely modern kitchen. You will not be disappointed with this holiday.

My partner and I just spent 3 nights in Louise and Kerry’s wonderful little cottage. The cottage itself has been finished to such a high standard, comfortable sofa, amazing kitchen and of course the amazing hot tub! We stayed as a couple but would certainly think about coming back for a family holiday! Even in the winter this is a perfect little holiday home! Good location to drive to local beauty spots - we went for Rock, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Padstow - all lovely! We enjoyed 2 fab meals out at the Pityme inn and the Mariners - wonderful! Thank you so much for our stay. We absolutely loved it. The hot tub was fantastic and got used every day! And the waterproof speaker for use outside was fantastic that added to the atmosphere each evening in the hot tub. We also loved the kitchen - so well equipped, it had everything needed! This was such a comfy and cozy house - and having Netflix to watch in the evenings was great too. I would recommend this stay for couples and families alike.

We had an amazing stay in St Minver. The cottage was immaculate and there were lovely little touches such as a food hamper on arrival and wood for the fire. Kerry and Louise were the perfect hosts- they were very quick to reply to any messages and sorted any problems immediately. The quality of the furnishings were of very high quality and there were plenty of kitchen appliances etc to cook meals during our stay. All of this combined made it a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was brilliant - perfect for soaking in after a day of walking. We would love to come and stay again when next on holiday in Cornwall. Thank you again :)

Fabulous cottage for a secluded, away from it all, relaxing break - loved everything about the cottage especially the hot tub. Exceptionally clean with modern up-to-date facilities and quality fixtures and fittings. Felt totally relaxed from the moment we arrived - lovely welcome basket of Cornish treats, and friendly introduction from the host - perfect!

We have recently spent a fabulous week at Owl Cottage, enjoying a relaxing break. I would highly recommend booking a stay, as Louise was so helpful and made the process so easy. Arriving after a long drive to be greeted with a lovely hamper of local treats, along with the essentials (milk, bread, butter, cheese). was a great surprise. The house is stunning and furnished to a very high standard. The addition of a hot tub, huge garden and use of dry robes was brilliant.The house is peaceful and just far enough away from anywhere to feel like a world away from everyone. Beaches at Rock, Daymer and Polzeath are so close, along with all the local shops for bits and pieces. Short hop to Wadebridge for the bigger shops and to the delights of Padstow. We will certainly be back.

A beautiful, quaint, yet fully modernised, cottage in its own grounds with superb faculties.
Equipment and furniture inside and out was first class. Enjoyed huge garden, watching wildlife and stargazing in the hot tub. The underfloor heating was lovely and the smart TV was useful in an evening after chilling in the hot tub.
Hosts were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great to see a good supply of cleaning and household supplies. The welcome hamper, teeming with local produce, was also excellent and far above those provided in other accommodation. Not having to buy tea, coffee or butter or other staples was really helpful and who doesn’t love scones and jam?!
Location wise, it’s within an hour or less of many beaches and attractions in northern Cornwall. Tintagel, Polzeath, Boscastle, Bude, Wadebridge and more we didn’t manage to fit in.
Would not hesitate to recommend this tremendous cottage.

We have just had the most brilliant week here (our last night tonight). Owl cottage is superb.... the decor is fabulous, modern and perfectly clean. It is also very spacious. There is everything here you could possibly want to make it a comfortable stay. The sofas and beds are very comfy, with really nice bedding. There is a lovely (huge) garden, again with everything you could want, lovely furniture, bbq, fire pit, and an amazing hot tub with complete privacy. Hosts are lovely and have really thought of everything, all the little touches! I would not hesitate to come back. My husband has already looked to see if it was available for our wedding anniversary in November, but sadly for us, it's booked. I don't think anyone could be disappointed staying here. Can't wait to come back sometime.

We have just returned from a fabulous week away at Owl Cottage. If anybody is looking for accommodation I would highly recommend contacting Louise. I couldn’t have been more impressed. Louise is helpful, friendly and professional. The booking process was straightforward with lots of information provided about the house, local area and things to do. On arrival at the house we were greeted with a lovely hamper as well as essentials (milk, bread, butter, cheese). Louise popped over to show us how to use the hot tub and introduce herself. The house is stunning, it’s furnished to a very high standard with beautiful quality bedding, towels and even the use of dry robes! The kitchen has every utensil, dish and pan you could ever need. The house is located in a peaceful area with a beautiful big garden, not overlooked by anybody. We really couldn’t have asked for more, spotlessly clean, super helpful and friendly hosts and a lovely area. We can’t wait to come back!

From the moment we arrived at Owl Cottage we were made so welcome by Louise and Kerry . Communication was second to none and nothing was too much trouble . The Cottage is so well equipped from sumptuous bedding to Pro Cook utensils in the kitchen . The Hot Tub was enjoyed to the maximum by our daughter and her friend . Overall a most relaxing holiday in an unspoilt location but so near to lots of beautiful beaches . Thankyou Louise and Kerry for your hospitality , was very much appreciated 😎

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Owl Cottage. We soon felt at home and it was so luxurious! Louise and Kerry have thought about every detail and they were so welcoming. Communication was great from the moment we sent the booking enquiry and they also gave us lots of tips and info about what we could do whilst visiting. The location is fantastic too. Remote enough to escape and enjoy the hot tub without being overlooked but close enough to be a short drive away from beaches and towns.
Thank you Louise and Kerry - we would be back in a flash!
