Long golden sandy beaches can be found at Rock and Daymer Bay.  A short drive takes you to Hawker's cove which is perfect for long days and beach BBQs with its soft, fine sand and clear, gentle sloping waters.

Water sports are plentiful with numerous surfing beaches (surf schools are available at Polzeath) a short drive or cycle ride away.  Sailing instruction & water skiing plus inflatable fun are all available at Rock.  Meander your way around the rock pools found at Daymer Bay or drop your crab lines along the harbour wall in Padstow.

Cycle the Camel Trail and take in the stunning views of the estuary. Cycle hire is available in Padstow and Wadebridge.

Alternatively, explore the coastal paths and rural footpaths around the local area.  Amazing views and dramatic coastlines can be found from Pentire Head around to the Rumps.

A butcher, bakery, deli, fishmonger and convenience stores can be found in Rock.
